1-2 Minute film
In this assignment Marissa has
asked us all to produce a 1-2
video based on video installation. she also asked us to be creative with it and add more than one audio track so that the video can be interesting

Proposal
Short Film-Emotion.
Style of installation
For my piece of video installation, I will be doing a Moving Image Production. This will involve a continuous rolling camera to capture the full performance of my piece.
Concept
My video installation will be based on emotions and how we express our emotions. We smile when we are happy, frown when we are sad, laugh when we are joyful. In my piece I will be expressing a range of different emotions and how I express each and every one of them. Some of these Expressions may be based on life experiences and my current emotional state. When the audience watches this piece I want them to feel like they can somewhat relate with how they express their own emotions through mine.
Content
My video installation will use effects such as Fades to start the video and also to end the video. Transitions may also be used in my piece so that I can morph into different emotions I will also use split screens so I can show 2 emotions occurring at the same time. I may add more Effects and Transitions depending on how I utilize my piece.
Use of Visual Codes
In my video I will use different colors when I express different emotions. I will do this by using the green screen behind me. I will have lighting on me so you will be able to see me clearly when I am showing my expressions.
Soundtrack
The soundtrack that I will be using in my video installation video will be one that has both high and low tones because my expressions will take a journey through a range of different emotions so I must find a soundtrack that is suitable for the video.
Who Is Your Audience?
My Audience really doesn’t have an Age Group, Gender or any category Because feelings and emotions apply to every human being. Everyone Feels, everyone thinks and everybody expresses themselves in one way or another.
